Circa 2017 per factory paperwork, proofed for 2016 on barrels. 28" monobloc barrels with raised, solid rib with steel bead and hand-cut matting. Left side of top barrel with "LUCIANO BOSIS ITALY" ahead of joint. Under the forearm are modern Italian proofs for a 20 gauge with a nominal 15.8 IBD, nitro proofed, and imported by Cole Inc. Factory fit for Briley chokes. Game forearm with thin forearm tip engraved with acanthus scroll, Bosis crest, and teardrop. Point pattern checkering, iron with finely cut scroll on a blackened background, interwoven with florals. Interior iron with matching serial number. Round body action with near full coverage of scroll and florals en suite with "Luciano Bosis" inlaid in gold on both sides of body, and Bosis crest in gold on bottom of action. Signed "G.S. Pedretti" at trigger guard, the dual signature of father and son engraving team Giancarlo and Stefano Pedretti, two of Italy's finest master engravers. Trigger guard and long tang engraved en suite with serial number inlaid in gold. Other features include single non-selective trigger and non-automatic safety. Nicely figured Turkish walnut with gold oval along toeline with "JSD" initials, pistol grip with skeleton buttcap engraved en suite, and skeleton buttplate engraved en suite. Central screw also has gold rim. This gun is not steel proofed. In Luciano Bosis leather wrapped case with wine-colored lining, French fit for the gun, and compartments with pair snapcaps, 2 piece cleaning rod, brush and mop, and a spare set of sears and strikers. With extra chokes: 2 Modified and Cylinder, with Improved Cylinder in top barrel and Skeet in bottom barrel currently installed. With copies factory specs and guarantee, with the original owner's name redacted. CONDITION: Excellent, NOS or equivalent with only a few extremely minor marks from handling throughout. Barrels with virtually all of their bluing, some thinning to silver visible at joint. Stocks excellent with some minor handling marks. Action excellent, engraving is crisp and masterfully cut. Mechanically fine, bores are excellent with some very minor frosting ahead of chambers; it is distinctly possible that this gun was test fired only. Case and accessories excellent with some normal handling marks, one noted indentation on top of lid.
