The Blaser R8 was designed to be a modular system and can be chambered in a number of cartridges and barrel lengths. Both barrels are in identical confirmation with bead front sight on a sweated-on base with smooth ramp, sling stud on sweated-on ring, express rear sight with white line horizontally dovetailed into a sweated-on base. Left side of chambers with Blaser information, caliber designation, Ulm nitro proofs for 2012 (.458 Lott) and 2013 (.375 H&H). Housed in a pebbled green ABS case compartmentalized for both barrels, a Blaser RD20 red dot sight with 2 MOA dot on Blaser QD mounts, Swarovski Z8i 1.7-13.3x42mm scope on with illuminated reticle, also on Blaser QD mounts, extra Swavoski turret cap, Blaser bolt with tang mounted safety, 3 magazine inserts, and French Grey receiver with received depicting a pair of elk on the left in a forest scene, with a bugling bull and a cow, right with a pair of roe deer, one buck and one doe. Stock of a nicely crotch figured walnut with contrasting forearm tip with sling stud, point pattern checkering on either side of forearm, pistol grip with contrasting cap, checkered in 2 panels about the wrist, sling stud on toe line, and with a double fluted comb, terminating in a Blaser soft recoil pad. Case has allen key and manual. CONDITION: Excellent, showing very little evidence of use. Virtually all of the factory finishes are retained throughout, with some scattered handling marks. Glass is clear across both pieces, with functional illumination. Barrels are excellent with bright, sharp rifling. While there is no trigger assembly, they are fairly easy to source. An excellent setup.
