Manufactured prior to German occupation in 1939. Finished in full rust blue with 2-line Radom address and Polish eagle device stamped on the left of the slide. Standard fixed front sight blade and dovetail v-notch rear sight. Triple latch pattern with slotted butt for shoulder stock. Frame is correctly Polish proofed "D / 2". Fitted with 2-piece checkered black hard rubber "FB" and "VIS" monogrammed grips. Complete with a "G / 2" marked pre-war magazine. No visible import marks. Matching numbers observed on frame, slide, and barrel. CONDITION: A very fine example. Nearly all of the arsenal blue is retained throughout, with some mild high edge silvering and a few cleaned oxidation spots on the left of the slide. Grips are sharp with excellent definition and only a few nicks. Grip screws retain the majority of their nitre blue. Very fine mirror bore. Crisp mechanics. A very nice, hard-to-find gun.
