This fine pair feature round Damascus screw barrels with rounded scalloped boxlock actions with scroll engraving and gold-inlaid scrolls. Liege proofs on left sides of breeches and bottoms both marked "20 / (crown) / AF". Ivory grips with carved scrollwork and silver pommel caps with reservoirs for spare nipples. Shield-shaped German silver escutcheons on wrists. With a stamped-leather-covered display box lined with patterned burgundy cloth and accented with twisted yellow rope. Brass handles on both sides of box. CONDITION: Barrels retain a brown patina. Actions polished, mechanisms need adjustment. Grips show some cracks. Case shows some minor scuffing, interior shows some fading. Key absent. An attractive pair of pistols with a nice case.
