57.5cm nagasa, with shinogi zukuri construction, iori mune and iriyamagata jiri. Jihada is extremely tight, but burls of mokume can be seen in places. Tall choji hamon reaches to the shinogi in some places, and is nie deki, with plenty of kinsuji and sunagashi. Some spots of tobiyaki, particularly near ha. Ko maru boshi. Nakago with katte sagari yasurime, and is signed, but patina has rendered the characters illegible. A wrap around the shirasaya attributes the work to Tachibana Yoshinari, a shinto smith in Settsu province and trained under Yoshimichi; no papers. CONDITION: Ver good, in polish, with a few very minor handling marks and some very minor pinpricks of mossing near machi. Shirasaya is very good. A wonderful blade with a plethora of activity.
