MFG 1874. Nickel plated six shot .44 American single action top break with period ivory grips. Matching serial number on back of cylinder. JH carved under grips. Matching assembly number 189 inside grip frame and barrel. Period replaced front sight. CONDITION: Very Good. A good even mix 50/50 nickel and blending grey patina. Action works properly with half cock as well. Strong rifling with minor abrasion. Original case color hammer and trigger guard are patina. Grips are aged but complete and have shrunk a bit. Honest original big western Smith & Wesson.
