This massive and unusual breech loading volley gun features a blued 7-shot barrel cluster stamped on the left "MANUFACTURE FRANCAIS D'ARMES ST. ETIENNE" along with Belgian proofs. Barrels have a raised matted rib affixed with a dovetail blade front sight and 2-leaf express rear sight. The modified underlever rolling block action has been cleaned in the European fashion and is attractively engraved with borders and a few floral details. Heavy checkered walnut forend and pistol grip stock with engraved steel grip cap, sling eyes, and a steel butt plate. CONDITION: Good. Barrels retain nearly all of their reapplied blued finish with scattered marks and some mild oxidation. Receiver displays even silvery patina with a few oxidation spots. Stocks have some scattered nicks and impressions. Forend has a sliver of loss near the breech on the left side. Strong, frosted bores. Action requires attention and appears not to open all of the way.
