AGS CERTIFIED #11609. Single Sided Hand Painted Two-Piece Plywood Sign which joins together near the middle. Sign features an outstanding Native American graphic hand painted in the field as well as Warrior Petroleum script. CONDITION: Sign is very good overall showing excellent condition paint throughout with limited areas of scattered surface wear. Sign shows a few minor areas of lifting in the wood due to age cracking but nothing that is overly worn. Sign shows added mounting holes at the edge as well as some moderate wear at what appear to be the original mounting holes. The two pieces join together nicely and overall the piece displays very well with an excellent original age & patina. Possibly the only known example.
