Manufactured from 1883 to 1907. Blued octagon barrel with Rocky Mountain front sight and sporting rear, missing the elevator. Case hardened action side lever action marked for Hepburn's patent. Schnabel tipped walnut splinter forend with ebony insert. Checkered round knob pistol grip stock with standard crescent butt plate. CONDITION: Fine. Barrel retains significant portions of factory blue, starting to fade to a brown patina. Generous original case colors displayed on the action. Straps and bridge have faded to patina with some patterning. Stocks have some scattered minor impressions and a couple larger abrasions near the butt plate, otherwise rating fine. Bore has strong rifling with some frosting in the grooves and other signs of light cleaned black powder oxidation. Fine mechanics.
