MFG. 1958. This pre-64 barreled action was fitted to a custom oil finish walnut stock that features deluxe hand cut checkering, a rosewood grip cap set with gold medallion with initials, "JPB". Rosewood fore-end cap, sling eyes, straight comb. Floor plate and trigger guard are hand engraved with fine bank note scroll and an inlay Water Buffalo with gold lines. Hooded ramp front barrel sight and rear two leaf folding sight. The breech and muzzle are both engraved with gold lines. The receiver has same style scroll with gold lines as barrel. Solid black Pachmayr recoil pad. Scope rings are also engraved in same style with gold. Scope is a Bushnell 1.5 x 4.5 with clear heavy post cross hair reticle. CONDITION: Excellent. Retains majority of custom finish. Stock has minimal impressions and rubs. Metal shows a few handling marks. Bore is bright. Very handsome rifle and master engraved.
