Napoleonic period Belgian-proofed flintlock carbine with an Austrian Eagle on lock and unit markings on stock. Liege-proofed 26" round .62 caliber smoothbore barrel with pedestal blade front sight. Flint lock with single trigger control. Hardwood stock with iron hardware, including unit-marked buttplate and two barrel bands. Comes with steel trumpet head style ramrod. CONDITION: Metal has turned to a silvery gray patina with light freckling. Lock appears to be original flint. Stock has dark usage marks and dings with no visible restoration. Dark pitted bore with strong mechanics.
