Circa 1966; wood tests negative for salt. 28" barrels with vent rib fit with a steel mushroom bead front sight and anti-glare crosshatch matting. Sliding forearm with Deely latch release. Left side of top barrel with Browning information and "MADE IN BELGIUM", right side with "SPECIAL STEEL - 20 GA - SHELLS 2 3/4" AND 3"" designations and patent dates. Top barrel with single star marking for Full choke, bottom with 2 stars for Modified. Boxlock action with typical Grade I floral engraving,. Gold washed trigger with round knob long tang configuration Prince of Wales grip; trigger guard engraved "JOHN BRYANT". Automatic safety with "S" ahead of slide and "O" and "U" on either side for selector positions. Walnut stock checkered in 2 panels of point and wave pattern checkering, and finished by a Pachmayr White Line pad. CONDITION: Very good, showing evidence of field use throughout. Barrels with the vast majority of their bluing, with some minor marks and superfical scratches from the field, and a small, approximately 1 - 1/2" strip of cleaned oxidation over Browning information, a similarly sized patch on right side of chamber, and two areas on bolster. Wood good with some handling marks and indentations, heavier on the buttstock, with some bubbling of varnish visible. Mechanically fine, bore is very good with some firing residue. Ejectors are strong but slightly out of time, bottom fires first.
