Manufactured in 1935. Shotgun currently sports a 26" blued Winchester proof steel barrel choked (L) WS-2 and (R) WS-1 with matted rib, double bead sights, and selective ejectors. Although not listed on included on included factory research, a second set of barrels with matching numbers is also included. Second set are 30" blued Winchester Proof steel choked (L) Full and (R) Mod with matted rib, single bead sight, and ejectors. Machine blued box lock marked "TOURNAMENT / SKEET" on the trigger plate with single selective trigger. Kidney patterned checkered walnut beavertail forend and straight grip stock with serrated horn butt plate. Included factory research confirms options, although buttplate appears to be an aftermarket addition. Records also note that this gun returned to the factory to have different checkering cut on forend and stock in 1947. CONDITION: Very good overall. Shotgun retains the vast majority of its factory applied blue with areas of freckling throughout and some carry wear. Trigger guard has largely faded to brown. Forend has a few dings and area of loss along the left edge. Stock also has scattered impressions and spots of finish loss. Buttplate has some insect marks. Mirror bores. Fine mechanics. A nice, scarce set.
