This massive bowie knife was handcrafted by legendary knifemaker Buster Warenski. For those in the custom knife making industry Buster Warenski needs no introduction. He was one of the greatest knifemakers of the last century, who created some of the most sought-after and most expensive knives in the world. Buster Warenski passed away on July 31, 2005 but his legacy lives on through his beautifully crafted knives. This massive bowie knife features 13 - 3/4" clip point blade marked "B. WARENSKI / RICHFIELD, UT." on the obverse ricasso. The blade is mirror polished and remains bright with blinding sheen. Brass spine. Large stainless S-shaped crossguard with brass ferrule. The knife is complete with its massive wood handle that is nicely shaped to offer a comfortable grip. The knife measures 19 - 3/4" overall and is complete with its original leather scabbard marked "BUSTER'S KNIVES / RICHFIELD, UTAH". The scabbard is as clean as the knife with pliable leather and intact belt loop and snap. Scattered blemishes throughout. CONDITION: Very good.
