Circa 1975. A great combination gun and rifle. Blued Boehler steel barrels all measure 26 -1/4” and are built with ejectors. (A&B) Shotgun barrels are also built with ramped machine filed ventilated ribs and have white round front bead sights. (C) Rifle barrel built with machine filed 1/4 rib with standing rear sight and ramped front blade sight. All ribs read “FRANZ SODIA, FERLACH”. Bottom of (A/28) barrel marked with ”28/70”, “BOHLER * RASANT”, “20167”, Proofs and “1660.75”. Bottom of (B/410) “410/76”, “BOHLER * RASANT”, “20167”, proofs, and “1659.75”. (C/.30-06) with “BOHLER * RASANT”, “20167”, proofs, and “1658.75”. Barrels are all fit with a 3 piece forend (one bottom piece for all 3). Silver / grey patina side lock action with full coverage game scene and scroll engraved. Right lock engraved with stag and doe in wood. Left lock with hunting dogs in field after pheasant. Bottom action with a single flying duck off water/grass and with “FRANZ SODIA, FERLACH” in banner above. Action fit with double Kursten locking mechanism, disk set strikers and double triggers. Action with view window on right lock plate and cocking indicator on left. Top lever is blacked, engraved, and checkered. Slide safe is checkered. Double triggers are protected by a horn guard that extends to a full length bottom strap. Action and stock with full length steel engraved top strap. Gun is non-auto safe. “S” engraved for safe. Dark straight grained European walnut stock with checkered pistol hand grip has a steel grip cap, cheeckpiece, vacant oval, and finished with a thin horn serrated butt plate. Gun comes in oak and leather case with brass corners and a pair of .410 snap caps. Inner lid with paper “FRANZ SODIA” case label. CONDITION: Very good. Barrels retain mostly all of their original blue and bores are all good. Action, triggers and ejectors work well to test. Stock and forends good with some handling marks. Case is good with some light handling marks.
