Nice example of a No. 3 Chute knife that was crafted by renowned knife maker Robert "Bob" Loveless. The knife features a 4 - 1/2" clip point blade marked "R.W. LOVELESS / maker / Riverside, Calif." on either side of the blade. Marled "3" on obverse ricasso. The blade retains its original bright polished sheen with crisp markings and scattered light blemishes. Stainless crossguard and ferrule. Black buffalo horn grip scales are retained by stainless pins and are pierced by a stainless lanyard loop. Scales are nicely bordered with red spacers. Grip exhibits light scuffs and handling wear with intact scales. The knife is complete with its original leather scabbard that marked by Loveless on the throat. Scabbard is also marked "CH3" in ink on reverse. The scabbard remains pliable and exhibits scattered light blemishes with tight stitching. CONDITION: Very good.
