Massive bowie knife by notable knife maker D.E. Henry who was known for being a near flawless craftsman up until his passing in 1993. The knife features a large 11 - 5/8" clip point blade that is marked "D.E. HENRY / MT. RANCH" on the obverse ricasso and his Bear #6 logo on the reverse ricasso. The blade retains its mirror polish sheen with scattered light blemishes. Nickeled oval crossguard exhibits light blemishes. Large coffin-shaped stag grip scales are intact and remain firmly affixed to the knife with 4 stainless pins on each side. A silver escutcheon is at the center of the reverse scale. The knife is complete with its black leather scabbard with nickeled throat and tip. Scabbard body remains intact and pliable with tight seem. Mounts exhibit scattered blemishes. CONDITION: Very good.
