Nice example Stag handled hunter knife that was crafted by renowned knife maker Robert "Bob" Loveless. The knife features a 3 - 1/2" blade marked "R.W. LOVELESS / maker / Riverside, Calif." on the obverse blade and serial numbered "-966" on the obverse ricasso. The blade retains its original bright polished sheen with crisp markings and scattered blemishes. Stainless guard with stag grip scales that are pierced to accommodate a stainless lanyard ring. Tang is nicely bordered with red spacers. Grip exhibits light handling wear with intact scales held in place by stainless brass bordered pins. The knife is complete with its original leather scabbard that is also marked by Loveless on the throat. Numbered "-766" in ink on reverse beneath belt loop. The scabbard remains pliable and exhibits scattered light scratches and dings with tight stitching. CONDITION: Very good.
