W&S Butcher Cutlery handled Sheffield Bowie with a large 9 - 5/8" hollow ground, satin finished clip point blade with file worked spine. Blade is marked "APPLEBY / SHICKSHINNY, PA" on ricasso. Great finish with light blemishes. 410 stainless steel wide S-shaped cross guard with light marks. Antique silver hollow cutlery handle with beautiful raised foliate motifs. Light blemishes throughout its curved shape. 14 - 3/4" overall length. Wet molded, tooled brown leather scabbard that features a 410 stainless steel throat and tip. Round carry stud accommodated on throat. Pliable leather with tight seam and light blemishes throughout. Accompanied by a copy of an Appleby Knives certificate. CONDITION: Excellent.
