A maker that needs no introduction, Bob Loveless is known as one of the greatest modern knifemakers. During his life, he crafted high end knives for the consumer market as well as US government organizations including the CIA and US Army Special Forces. This Hunter model features a 3 - 1/2" drop point blade that is marked "R.W. LOVELESS / maker / Riverside, Calif." on the obverse cheek and is numbered "-442" on the ricasso. Blade remains bright with minor blemishes. Brown micarta handle with stainless steel support studs, stainless steel ferrule, and lanyard loop. Light handling wear to grip. Complete with its brown leather scabbard that also features the signature Loveless logo. Scabbard exhibits tight stitching with scattered blemishes and is also numbered "-442" on reverse. CONDITION: Excellent.
