Manufactured by Frank Hammerle of Hamilton, Ohio who was active circa 1863 to 1896. Gun features heavy contraction with a wide, solid rib stamped with the manufacturer signature and fitted with a small iron blade front sight. Lock are by Truitt Bros. & Co. of Philadelphia. Heavy half length walnut stock with iron mounts. CONDITION: Good with a pleasing chocolate patina and some oxidation spotting. Wood has a expected wear, dings, minor losses, and a few small splits. Neither hammer screw is present.
