Manufactured 1912 per serial number. Blade front sight recontoured into a lower profile, notch rear sight, kidney shaped ejector rod head, traversal cylinder axle rod pin, and smooth ivory grips. Engraving is approximately C+ coverage of Cattlebrand engraving on a stippled ground, supported by geometrics and scroll work; unsigned. Traversal pin, ejector rod head, cylinder, hammer, trigger, and frame screws are gold washed. Ivory grips have an ivory spacer between the two scales. CONDITION: The vast majority of the later nickel finish has some clouding and scratching visible throughout, and some areas of fine oxidation. Most of the gold wash has faded from small parts, cylinder, hammer, and traversal pin with better retention, as much as 70%. Mechanically fine with all four clicks, bore with strong rifling and even oxidation.
