Available from 1970 to 1979, these rifles were built to the specifications of the International Shooting Union by the Winchester Custom Shop, with total production limited to only 179 units as listed by Rule in "The Rifleman's Rifle". This example was manufactured circa 1970. It features an unusual 26" (standard was 24") heavy profile matte finished deeply target crowned Winchester Proof Steel barrel with Redfield International front sight and Redfield Palma rear. Additional target scope mounting blocks present on barrel and receiver. Heavy bedded International Army Match walnut stock with aluminum accessory rail, Monte Carlo cheekpiece, and ribbed black rubber Winchester pad. CONDITION: Near excellent. Nearly all of the factory matte finish is retained throughout with light marks and high edge silvering. Bolt displays nearly all of its jeweling. Stock is has some scattered impressions. Butt pad has some deterioration. Fine bright and strong bore with some mild spots. Crisp mechanics.
