Manufactured in 1953. Fitted with a tapered, blued, Winchester proof steel barrel with hooded blade front sight. The rear sight dovetail filled in with a Williams blank. Receiver mounted with a period El Paso Weaver K4 scope. Underside of the bolt marked with the full matching serial number in electropencil. Iconic diamond checkered Super Grade Monte Carlo stock with ebony tip, dished sling eyes, "-SUPER GRADE-" marked floor plate, composition WRACO grip cap, and checkered steel butt plate. CONDITION: Very good overall. Nearly all of the factory blued finishes are retained with faint wear and scattered handling marks. Receiver likewise retains nearly all of its matte finish. Bolt has areas of brown patina which could likely be cleaned up with a good polish. Stock has some light impressions. Bore is bright with crisp, well defined rifling and some fine cleaned oxidation spots in the grooves. Fine mechanics. Optic is clouded with oxidation present around the lenses.
