Circa 1941. Fitted with a tapered blued Winchester proof steel barrel with hooded blade front sight and bolt peep rear, the rear barrel dovetail filled in with a blank. Deluxe checkered walnut forend. Checkered walnut pistol grip stock with hard rubber WRACO grip cap and checkered steel shotgun butt plate. CONDITION: Very good overall. Rifle retains the majority of its factory blue with some mild muzzle and high edge wear. Lever retains traces of blue in protected areas, the balance worn to a silver patina. Stocks are very good with light impressions and some small areas of finish loss. Very fine, bright bore with crisp rifling. Fine mechanics.
