Lot consists of 3 display boards that exhibit wreckage of German aircraft that were shot down during World War II. (A) Display board with pieces of a Luftwaffe Ju-88 that was shot down on the night of January 21-22, 1944 by a British Mosquito from 96 Squadron. The Ju-88 is noted to have crashed at Paddock Wood, Kent. (B) Display board with wreckage of a Ju87B Stuka Dive Bomber that was shot down by yellow section of 615 Squadron Heathrow over the English Channel at 3:50pm on Sunday July 14, 1940. The British pilots who intercepted the Stuka are identified, as well as the Stuka crew, listing the German pilot as KIA and crew member as missing. (C) Display board that exhibits wreckage of a Dornier DO172-3 that was shot down by British fighters over Eastchurch, and crashed at Chapel Hill Farm, Leysdown, at 4:15pm on Tuesday, August 20, 1940. The German pilot is listed as KIA while crew members were captured. All display boards exhibit light wear with nicely preserved wreckage. These were most likely displayed somewhere in England. CONDITION: Good.
