American Arms manufactured firearms in Boston, Massachusetts, from 1866 until 1893. This shotgun features a nickel plated receiver, a browned twist steel barrel, a checkered walnut round knob stock with steel butt plate and matching fore-arm. CONDITION Excellent. Barrel has a smooth brown patina finish with 95% nickel. Both show some average age freckling. Trigger guard shows about 30% nickel with overall age freckling. Stock is solid with average impressions and finish loss. Striker engages. Bore is clean with some minor scoring.
