Mono bloc barrels with a tapering vent rib cut with anti-glare matting, Bradley style white plastic front sight, and ported at muzzle. Undersides of action with Ulm proofs, IH date code for 1987, "MADE IN / W GERMANY", "SHOTGUNS / of ULM", and German nitro proofs for a 3" 12 gauge with nominal 18.6 IBD. Slightly schnabeled forearm with Deely style latch release, point pattern checkering, and lightly engraved with a floral motif at iron; interior iron serial number matches. Iconic Krieghoff boxlock action with retracting hood engraved with light floral motifs on both sides of action, underside with a stylized K80 logo and "SHOTGUNS of ULM / Ulm W.-Germany". Interior action with German nitro proofs and BB code for 2011. Single selective mechanical trigger with selector tab ahead of bow. Lovely upgraded stock of a slightly smokey maple colored walnut with sidepanels, point pattern checkering about the pistol grip with both left and right palm swells, terminating in a Kick-Eez recoil pad. Housed in an aluminum case fitted for the gun when broken down, and a separate half for subgauge tubes, including pair .410s, pair 20s, and pair of 28s currently installed. Accompanied by the original wood set of a more straight grained walnut. Case code currently set to 000. CONDITION: Overall excellent. Barrels retain the vast majority of their bluing with some minor handling marks through, mostly at lugs, and marks from the field. Wood is excellent throughout with a few superficial scratches and minor marks from use. Pad is soft and pliable. Mechanically fine, bores are all very good with some frosting from field use, ejectors are in time. Case is very good with normal minor handling marks.
