Circa 1965 per serial number. 26" barrels with a brass bead front sight on a machine matted vent rib, with Browning's St. Louis and Montreal information on left over "MADE IN BELGIUM", right side with patents and designation for Special Steel barrels, 20 gauge, and 2 - 3/4" and 3" shells. Marked with Browning "**" and "**-" codes for Modified and Improved Cylinder. Round nose forearm with Browning sliding latch checkered in two panels of point pattern checkering. Boxlock action with classic Pigeon grade engraving of pair pigeons on an acanthus scroll background. Single inertia driven gold washed trigger protected long tang trigger guard engraved en suite. Non-automatic safety with a golden "S" inlaid ahead of slide, with horizontal positions for barrel selector. Round knob long tang configuration crotch feather walnut stock with sidepanels, Prince of Wales grip checkered in two panels of wave and point pattern about the wrist, terminating in a hard rubber Browning logo buttplate. Cast is very slightly off for a right handed shooter. In Browning case, compartmentalized for gun when broken apart. CONDITION: Very good, retaining virtually all of the factory bluing to barrels, with some scattered minor handling marks, most noticeable where slide reciprocates. Stocks very good with some scattered handling marks and superficial scratches. Action very good with some scattered areas of light patination and oil staining. Mechanically fine, ejectors are soft but in time, bores with some firing residue throughout. Case very good with some handling marks; case handle replaced.
