Matching pair of double action, single shot, bar hammer pistols. The hammers are stamped Patent April 16, 1845. (Thurber patent date) Features blued octagon to round barrels, blue engraved frames, walnut stocks, and case color hammers. Comes with a small period flask and an unmarked bullet mold/take down tool. CONDITION Fine. Good case color. Blue has mostly flaked from frame with traces remaining. Both are in working order, flashes of blue remain. Barrels show flashes of blue but guns are basically flaked to patina. Bores are smooth with abrasions. Nice little pair of muff pistols
