This is a "Shop Built" one of a kind, exact to scale, machined metal Live Steam Locomotive with matching tender. A working model of one of the largest Locomotives built in the 1940's. Believed to be a "Presidents Model" used to show off the "new, more powerful" Northfork & Western Locomotive to potential customers. The only known example of what many would call a "Salesman Sample" on #2 Gauge track with base. Wonderful detail – Every part is machined metal to exact operational scale. Marked No.3200, the full-sized version was an Articulated 4-6-6-4 double boiler steam engine capable of pulling 100 fully loaded coal cars.
This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made.
