Barrel is dated 1902. This was the French military successor to the Model 1871 Army / Navy revolver. The top of the part octagonal barrel reads Mle 1892. The right side is dated. The St. Etienne arsenal legend is on left side of frame. Standard features are blue finish, straw color small parts, checkered walnut grips with lanyard ring. Come with a grey canvass 1942 dated holster. CONDITION. Excellent. Retains 95% overall blue finish with scattered age freckling and high edge wear. Strong legends. Bright straw colors. Excellent grips. Fine working order with a strong but frosted bore.
