Lot consists of (A) Set of menuki depicting samurai charging towards each other, the left wielding a naginata, while the right has a katana and a tessen war fan. Mumei, in a kiri box. (B) Menuki depicting a pair of nobles playing go, executed in copper with gold highlights. Mumei, in a kiri box. (C) Menuki depicting a noble (daimyo?) receiving a gift from a visitor. Mumei, in a kiri box. CONDITION: Good overall. Samurai menuki with heavier rubs than balance, copper nobles with some age-related softening and rubs. Nobles playing Go are very good.
