Basically, this is a 1917 Smith built on the square butt N-frame, 5-screw double action revolver made for the .45 Auto Rim or .45 ACP. The 1937 Brazilian crest is stamped on the right side of the frame. Barrel legends are the same as a 1917 commercial. Finish is blue with case color hammer & trigger. The top factory screw was used to mount the adjustable Wondersight seen on numerous old 5-screw Smiths. The grips are rubber and marked SMITH & WESSON N FRAME. CONDITION. Good. Gun has been completely reblued. All of the legends are legible but crest is faint and there is some pitting under the blue on frame. Case colors are dark. Action functions properly but clunky. Bore is sharp. Comes with some extra half moon clips.
