General Lemnitzer is 1 of only 4 officers in the history of the United States Army to have actively served as a general during 3 major wars (World War II, Korea and Vietnam). He served from 1918–1969, retired as a general, and accumulated a lengthy list of accomplishments. The lot includes 2 swagger sticks, 1 is marked "GEN LEMNITZER FROM 3RD MARINE DIVISION" and the other is cased and marked "FROM LE GENERAL LE-VAN-TY CHIEF GENERAL STAFF VIETNAM ARMED FORCES". There is also a model/ashtray of a C-118A with flight information book that was from the General's last flight of his active military service. All pieces with varying patina and blemishes. CONDITION: Good.
