24cm (approximately 9 - 3/4") of classic hira zukuri form with uchi zori.Out of polish, but appears to have areas of masame grain and a suguha (straight) temper line. Ubu, mumei nakago with highly unusual yasurime that is higaki on one side, and kesho on the other; kesho side appears to be a more recent vintage. In an set of aikuchi mounts with a textured body. CONDITION: Blade has some kizu, primarily towards boshi on left side, with some looseness on right. Mounts with some handling marks and scrapes, and appear to be married to blade based on fit.
