Round steel barrel with original front sight that has been converted to 45-70, rear sight ladder has been removed and a optics mounting block with a Bushnell Phantom has been installed. The right side of the receiver is marked "Crown over V.R./ ENFIELD/ 1887./ IV/ 1". Various British inspection and out of service proofs are visible on the receiver, barrel, and lever. The buttplate screws and operating lever cup are comprised of brass. No cleaning rod shiny bore with good rifling CONDITION: Fair as converted
