64.2cm (approx. 25 - 1/4") shinogi zukuri form with an oil tempered gunome hamon with maru boshi. Nakago with ha agari kurijiri, seki stamp, and signed in a wide "loopy" script, difficult to read. Typical Type 98 mounts, scabbard with leather wrap, and sarute fit with a blue-and-brown officer's tassel. CONDITION: Very good, sword is out of polish with some handling marks and mossing, but temper line is visible to boshi.
