An absolutely stunning example of the rare Elizabethan table lamp by Duffner and Kimberly. The Elizabethan was one of Duffner's most ornate and intricate designs, making use of beautiful and complex glass. The pyramid-shaped shade measures 20" across, and an impressive 28" across the diagonal. The shade features a background of rich blues, interlaced with mottled yellows and browns, and further decorated with vibrant red medallions. The shade is finished in a decadent gold doré, and is in excellent condition, free of broken or missing glass, with just a small number of tight heat cracks. The shade sits on a monumental bronze base, standing 29" tall, and finished in gold doré. The base also includes the original, and stunning bronze heat cap and finial, a work of art unto itself. A truly gorgeous and complete Elizabethan, and likely the best example we have come across.
