One Piece Etched Chimney Cap Globe. C. 1915. The Texas Company, New York, New York. A very rare and highly sought after Globe from Texaco, one of the very first globes ever produced for Texaco. CONDITION: Side one is very good overall showing a large majority of its original red, green and black paint with some moderate wear age age to the surface. Side one shows a few fine surface hairlines but overall very clean. Side two is also very good but has lost the majority of its original painted surface with the green T remaining strong. Side two shows some surface staining and wear but overall excellent. Chimney cap shows some minor nicks with removable stain marks. The body portion is in very good condition with only minor surface wear and the base shows just light use nicks. A well displaying all original example.
