Lot consists of: (A) Savage Model 23D manufactured between 1933 and 1947. Finished in blue with a tall blade front sight, sporting rear, detachable magazine fed bolt action, oiled walnut stock, and serrated steel butt plate. Action has been tapped for a side mount scope, no longer present. CONDITION: Good. Fine bore. (B) Pre-1968 Savage Model 340B with blued finish, ramped blade front sight, Dockendorff adjustable rear sight, oiled walnut stock, sling swivels, and serrated plastic butt plate. Action drilled and tapped for a side mount scope, the stock also modified, the cope and mount no longer present. CONDITION: Good with some oxidation at the muzzle. Strong bore.
