Manufactured in 1938 prior to German occupation. Finished in full rust blue with 2-line Radom address and Polish eagle device stamped on the left side of the slide. Standard fixed front sight blade and dovetail v-notch rear sight. Triple latch pattern with slotted butt for shoulder stock. Frame is correctly Polish proofed "B / 8". Fitted with 2-piece checkered black hard rubber "FB" and "VIS" monogrammed grips. No visible import marks. Matching numbers observed on frame and slide. Barrel appears to be a correct replacement. Pistol includes 2 pre-War or early-War magazines without inspection marks, as well as what appears to be a reproduction magazine. Also accompanied by a scarce black dyed pre-War hard shell leather holster marked internally with Polish eagle, "W.P.", "8 / 7" , and "37" ink stamps, a braided leather lanyard, and brass cleaning rod. CONDITION: A very fine example. Pistol retains the vast majority of its arsenal blue with some mild high edge silvering, a few spots of wear, and thinning on the grip straps. Grips are sharp with excellent definition. Grip screws retain the majority of their nitre blue. Very fine mirror bore. Crisp mechanics. Accessories rate good to very good. An excellent and hard to fine set.
