C. 1969 Schwinn Mfg. Chicago. Serial #KE66479. The Schwinn "Cotton Picker" was first introduced in the 1970 catalog, as the frame for this version was stamped in October of 1969 and very well could be an early version of the introduction of the bicycle. From the 1969 Schwinn catalog; "Just wait until you try the floating, super cushioned ride of this unique 5-speed Stik-Shift model. Equipped with spring suspension front fork. With bucket style saddle with rally stripes, chrome plated fenders, patented spring Strut, "MAG" sprocket, rear caliper brake and large aluminum drum brake." CONDITION: Showing a full restoration, which may or may not include some new components. Tires, paint and decals are new. Light wear from handling, no describable scratches or scuffs.
