Manufactured 1929. This is a stellar example of a standard Model 1908 with blue finish, checkered walnut grips with Colt silver medallions, and a tempered two tone magazine stamped "CAL 380 COLT" on base. It comes in its original maroon box with matching number written in pencil on bottom, along with the original instructions and proper end label. Both of the inner Colt labels are also intact. Pistol bears the proper Colt legends on both sides of slide with Pony as well as the VP proof on trigger bow. CONDITION. Excellent. There is a small ding on left side of slide and one spot at upper right grip. The straps show a couple minor handling marks. That noted, the gun retains nearly all the blue finish, still present on crisp slide edges and at the muzzle. Grips are near mint as is the magazine. The bore is bright. The box is intact retaining all of its aprons, some chipping on label and some paper loss on hinge side.
