A nice holster rig that would be the typical kit for a US Army officer during the 1890s. The rig consists of an M881 holster that is complete with all components. The flap is marked "H / 9 / 37" as well as "C-2" and inspector stamped "J.H.K.". Crazing on flap with scuffs on body. There is also a Stuart saber hanger with crazing on straps and patina to brass. An M1892 cartridge pouch is nicely affixed to the belt with nicely embossed "US" in oval and pleasing dark color to the leather. All pieces are set up on an M1881 belt with brass officer's belt plate. The belt exhibits crazing and scuffs throughout. Plate with pleasing patina. All pieces remain supple and are intact with no major damage. CONDITION: Good.
