Manufactured in 1862 for use in the Civil War, federal subsinspection marks present throughout, as well as somewhat legible inspector cartouches on each side of the grip. Standard wartime configuration with New York address, small German silver blade front sight, rebated 6-shot percussion cylinder, frame cut for a shoulder stock, corresponding steel backstrap, and 1-piuece reoiled walnut grips. CONDITION: Good. Action requires attention and does not cycle reliably unless the muzzle is pointed downward.
