Manufactured 1959. Half stock sporting rifle in scarce .280 chambering. Chamber is stamped "MADE IN AUSTRIA ORIGINAL MANNLICHER SCHOENAUER MOD MC KAL 280". Left side of frame has the Steyr legend. Chamber and left side were drilled and tapped for scope. Floor plate is stamped "Stoeger". Features a single trigger, butter knife bolt handle, blue finish, ramp front sight, rear sight base is empty. Walnut stock features checkered pistol grip, high Monte Carlo comb, black plastic grip cap and butt plate with white spacers, and a black forend tip with spacer. Comes with swivels. CONDITION. Excellent. The floor plate has thinned around the edges but balance of metal retains majority of blue. The stock is excellent with minor impressions. Action smooth. Bore is bright.
