The pistol is an early 1913 dated DWM Luger with all visible matching numbers including the left grip panel. The magazine is a later alloy base, blue body, "fxo" stamped with 15 on base. Standard blue finish with straw color small parts and checkered walnut grips. In addition to 1913, the chamber is dated 1920, as part of the Versailles Treaty post-War guns were allowed to remain in protective service. The front strap is stamped with unit mark along with Hussar stamp on trigger guard. The Hussar stamp is detailed in figure #8, page 75 in the book entitled "World of Lugers" by Sam Costanzo. The right side of frame is stamped with four proof marks. Comes with an unmarked extra magazine and loading tool in a Karl Bocker 1939 dated holster with waffenampt acceptance "WaA/727". CONDITION. Fine. The straw colors have faded. The straps have dulled patina. Overall, has high edge wear from holster. Legends are sharp. Bore is bright. Holster is in excellent condition.
