Full factory nickel plated third generation Colt SAA. Single line barrel address on top of the barrel, "COLT'S PT. F. A. MFG. CO, HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A.". Caliber designation on the left side of the barrel, "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .44 SPECIAL". Two line patent dates on the left side of the frame, "PAT. SEPT. 19, 1871 / JULY 2, 72 JAN. 1, 75". Matching serial numbers on the frame, trigger guard and backstrap. Plain smooth two piece wood grips. Comes in a leather holster that is maker marked, "EL PASO SADDLERY CO. / MAKERS / EL PASO, TEX.". CONDITION: This gun retains virtually all of the factory applied nickel finish. Bright and shiny bore with sharp lands and grooves. Grips are mint with just a few handling marks. Leather holster is in great shape with tight stitching.
