Manufactured in standard configuration throughout for US military and militia use during the mid 1830s-1840s. Breech is marked "U.S. / NWP / P". Left flat of stock opposite lock is marked with "WAT" and "MPL" cartouches. Appears to be in original flint. Accompanied by a handwritten sheet documenting configuration and photos. CONDITION: Fine, with the exception of a crack and repair near tail of lock. Mechanically fine. Bore is smooth.
